Chrysoprase is a beautiful green chalcedony colored by nickel that’s long been considered the most valuable of all the chalcedony hues. It is greatly admired in Asia and is often considered jade, which it strongly resembles. Beautifully cut from quality material and polished front and back, this high-domed cabochon weighs 4.44 ct. and measures 9 x 11x 6.1 mm. It will readily fit pre-made calibrated settings. It has a slightly curved bottom . Very nice even color, no white spots or imperfections. Chrysoprase is one of the Star Signs for Gemini (May 22-Jun. 21) and a birthstone for May.
